1. Description of the Service
OfficialGuides.com is an intermediary platform connecting travelers with licensed independent tour guides. The service provided and charged for by the platform is the digital matching and booking service only: bringing the parties together, providing the chat tools, and creating and confirming the reservation.
The tour itself is performed exclusively by the relevant independent guide, within the scope, on the date and under the conditions stated in the guide’s proposal. All matters concerning the performance, quality, cancellation or modification of the tour are between you and the guide.

3. Fees and Payment
Platform Usage Fee (15%): To finalize your reservation, 15% of the total price shown in the proposal is charged once per reservation by credit/debit card, in EUR, with the amount clearly displayed. This fee is the consideration for the platform’s booking service and is deducted from the total tour price: the amount payable to your guide is the total minus this fee.
Remaining balance (85%): Paid by you directly to your guide, by the method and at the time stated in the guide’s proposal. The platform is not a party to that payment.
Payments are processed by iyzico Ödeme Hizmetleri A.Ş.; your card details are never seen or stored by the platform. No additional taxes or costs are added to the Platform Usage Fee.
4. Performance
Upon payment, your booking confirmation is delivered in the chat screen and a booking summary (voucher) is sent by e-mail. The platform’s booking service is performed and consumed immediately upon delivery of the confirmation. By ticking the consent box at checkout you expressly consent to immediate performance.
5. Right of Withdrawal and Refunds
Under Articles 15/1-g and 15/1-h of the Regulation on Distance Contracts, no right of withdrawal applies to date-specific leisure services and to services performed immediately with your express consent.
All requests regarding cancellation, rescheduling or the remaining 85% must be addressed to your guide; no cancellation, modification or refund may be requested from the platform. Duplicate or erroneous charges are refunded to your card upon notification.
6. Complaints and Disputes
You may send requests and complaints to [email protected]. Disputes are subject to the Turkish Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts within the monetary limits announced by the Ministry of Trade.
