Platform Fee & Cancellation Policy

OfficialGuides.com is an intermediary platform connecting travellers with independent tour guides. No payment is taken by the platform. This page explains who pays what, and how cancellations work.

1. For Travellers: You Pay Nothing to the Platform

Browsing guides, contacting them and arranging a tour through OfficialGuides.com is free of charge. We do not collect any payment, deposit or booking fee from travellers.

The tour fee is agreed directly between you and your guide, and paid directly to the guide, by the method and at the time the guide states. OfficialGuides.com does not collect, hold or transfer this amount and is not a party to it.

2. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Changes

Any request to cancel, postpone or change the date, scope or price of a tour must be addressed directly to your guide through the chat screen. Cancellation terms are set by each guide and form part of the agreement you make with them.

If a guide cancels, OfficialGuides.com may, as a gesture of goodwill, assist you in finding an alternative guide or date. This is not an obligation.

3. For Guides: Service Fee

Registration, profile creation and listing publication are free. There is no subscription or monthly fee.

For each tour arranged through the platform, the guide pays a service fee of 15% of the total tour fee agreed with the traveller. The fee falls due after the tour has been completed and is paid by bank transfer within 7 days.
