Welcome to my personal page!

I was born and raised in Athens, a city that has remained my home and my greatest source of inspiration. For more than four decades I have had the privilege of guiding and leading visitors throughout Greece and the Eastern Mediterranean, a profession that has never ceased to fascinate me.

A memorable journey is about much more than visiting famous monuments. I aim to bring to life the people, ideas and values that shaped them. Through storytelling, I connect history with mythology, archaeology with everyday life, and the ancient world with contemporary Greece, helping visitors discover not only what they see, but also why it still matters today.

Alongside my guiding career, I earned a BA in English Language and Literature from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and an MA in Advanced Japanese Studies from the University of Sheffield. Living, studying and working abroad has given me a broader perspective and a genuine appreciation of different cultures, allowing me to communicate with travellers from many backgrounds with ease.

Every itinerary I design is tailored to the interests of my guests. Whether you wish to explore the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum, discover the hidden corners of Plaka, follow the footsteps of Socrates, delve into Greek mythology, experience Byzantine heritage, or venture beyond Athens to Delphi, Meteora, Nafplio or Cape Sounion, your tour will be thoughtfully adapted to your pace and your curiosity.

私はアテネ生まれ、アテネ育ちのギリシャ政府公認ツアーガイドです。40年以上にわたり、ギリシャ全土と東地中海で、日本のお客様をご案内してまいりました。

ガイドとして最も大切にしていることは、遺跡や博物館をご案内するだけではありません。その時代を生きた人々の息づかいを感じていただくことです。歴史と神話、考古学と芸術、伝統と現代の暮らしを結びつけながら、「なぜギリシャ文明は今なお世界中の人々を魅了し続けるのか」を、わかりやすく、そして心に残る形でお伝えしたいと願っています。

私はアテネ国立カポディストリアス大学で英語英文学を学び、その後、英国シェフィールド大学大学院で日本研究（Advanced Japanese Studies）の修士号を取得しました。日本には何度も滞在し、日本文化への理解を深めてきました。

また、1999年より日本文学のギリシャ語翻訳にも携わっています。近年は特に宮沢賢治の作品の翻訳に力を注ぎ、その詩集をギリシャで出版しました。翻訳者として培った、日本語の微妙なニュアンスや文化的背景への理解は、ガイドの仕事にも大いに役立っています。

これまで、JTB、ミキツーリスト、近畿日本ツーリスト、阪急交通社をはじめ、多くの日本の旅行会社のお客様をご案内してきました。また、NHK、在ギリシャ日本国大使館、2004年アテネ・オリンピック組織委員会などからもご依頼をいただいています。さらに、文部科学省の教員派遣団をはじめ、藤子・F・不二雄先生、森喜朗元首相、小泉純一郎元首相など、多くのお客様をご案内する機会にも恵まれました。

Γεννήθηκα και μεγάλωσα στην Αθήνα, μια πόλη που εξακολουθεί να με συναρπάζει και να με εμπνέει. Ως Διπλωματούχος Ξεναγός πιστεύω ότι η ουσιαστική γνωριμία με έναν τόπο δεν εξαντλείται στην επίσκεψη των μνημείων του. Απαιτεί γνώση, ερμηνεία και διάλογο· μια εμπειρία προσαρμοσμένη στα ενδιαφέροντα και τις προσδοκίες κάθε επισκέπτη.

Μετά την αποφοίτησή μου από την κρατική Σχολή Διπλωματούχων Ξεναγών Αθηνών το 1979, απέκτησα πτυχίο Αγγλικής Γλώσσας και Φιλολογίας από το Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών και μεταπτυχιακό τίτλο σπουδών, MA in Advanced Japanese Studies, από το Πανεπιστήμιο του Sheffield στη Μεγάλη Βρετανία. Έζησα, σπούδασα και εργάστηκα επί σειρά ετών στο εξωτερικό, εμπειρίες που διεύρυναν τον τρόπο με τον οποίο προσεγγίζω διαφορετικούς πολιτισμούς και ανθρώπους. Παράλληλα, ασχολούμαι επί πολλά χρόνια με τη μετάφραση ιαπωνικής λογοτεχνίας, μια δημιουργική δραστηριότητα που καλλιέργησε ακόμη περισσότερο την αγάπη μου για τη γλώσσα, την αφήγηση και την επικοινωνία ανάμεσα σε διαφορετικούς πολιτισμούς.

Εδώ και περισσότερες από τέσσερις δεκαετίες ξεναγώ Έλληνες και επισκέπτες από όλο τον κόσμο σε ολόκληρη την ελληνική επικράτεια. Ειδικεύομαι σε εξατομικευμένες ιδιωτικές ξεναγήσεις για ταξιδιώτες με υψηλές προσδοκίες, αλλά χαίρομαι εξίσου να μοιράζομαι τις γνώσεις και την αγάπη μου για την Ελλάδα με κάθε άνθρωπο που πιστεύει ότι ένας έμπειρος ξεναγός μπορεί πραγματικά να κάνει τη διαφορά.

Για μένα, η ξενάγηση είναι μια μορφή αφήγησης. Σκοπός μου δεν είναι απλώς να παρουσιάσω μνημεία και έργα τέχνης, αλλά να ζωντανέψω τον κόσμο που τα δημιούργησε.
